Animate Gaming
After a tight loss in the ETF2L Cup Final against 4Kings, Clan Fracture decided to call it a day. Three months later, with PCGamer and CGS dawning, former Fracture headliner mvp. decided that it´s now or never to reassemble the team! Unfortunately not everyone answered the call of duty. Agron and appe have already made themselves at home with their new teams and Chode is still missing in action.
Returning to the team is therefore only treigzak, who will be joining hands with who is probably Germany´s best scout, former Team uber player Inqui. Also joining up with them on the battlefield are the former old Animate players Abomination and Haunter (who will be sharing the leader position with mvp.), as well as TLR´s former Demoman BOOMting. Also joining is another former TLR and recent IM member, who will take the 7th spot - Shifty. Can Animate Gaming´s rise to supreme power be stopped once again?
Statement from Marco Wichmann // mvp. on Cadred.org
As far as I'm concerned, I think there simply hasn't been a Euro-team good enough to even pose a threat to the all mighty titan that is 4K. Ever since the demise of Fracture. And therefore, after having heard the announcements of CGS and PCGamer about the launch of highly remunerated TF2-tournaments, we had this idea of forming an new team.
Now, we finally were able to pluck up the courage and put our plan into action. Our primary goal will be of course: to take on the legacy of the old Team Fracture.

Animate are pleased to announce the new TF2 line-up, with some familiar faces and some new ones.
The team consists of:
António "Haunter" Rodrigues (Captain)
John "Abomination" Harrison
Josh "BOOMting" Walton
David "Inqui" Funk
Marco "mvp." Wichmann
Callum "shifty" Corneille
Sindre "treigzak" Børresen
Statement from Manager Mick "sirmick" Brooke:
I would like to start out by saying welcome to all of our new and some old members here at Animate Gaming. And we are looking forward to the future of our TF2 line-up as new developments seem to be arising very dramatically in the TF2 scene.
When I approached Haunter regarding a new improved line-up for Animate Gaming he was more than willing and the gears were in motion of what was to become a very strong line-up maybe even the strongest line-up we have had to date for TF2.
The TF2 line-up will have full support from Animate Gaming and we are very proud to have them representing and flying our flag in the up and coming leagues and LAN events. I think the players individually have come a long way in the game and we have a very good balance of classes and we will turn heads in the months to come.
Just a final few words, good luck guys and go shoot some faces!

Statement from Manager David "VooDou" Jones:
With the recent boom in TF2 it was a great chance to field a new team that would be up there with the best in TF2, and this has certainly been achieved with the roster joining us from the cream of the crop of past teams from both Fracture who narrowly missed out to 4Kings in the recent ETF2L final and TLR.
I would like to welcome the guys aboard and hope they will have an enjoyable time in the lead up to PCGamer LAN and alike, as we will have with looking after them.
Here's to a bright future for TF2!

Statement from Team Captain António "Haunter" Rodrigues:
Animate TF2 folding on the first time, made me lose interest on TF2, didnt find anyteam where I would fit, sudently mvp asked me if I was interested in forming a new roster under Animate, I was quite happy at that moment, and after checking the lineup, I couldn't refuse.
At the moment I'm very excited with the idea of playing on top level again, with one of the best teams speaking of skill and friendship, and as usual i will give my best to bring green scores.
I would like to thank to animate staff for taking me back, and also my new clanmates for trusting me as their representant

Done: Removal of non-essential objects.
Ingame physics have now been removed on non essential objects. This means all players see
the same thing. But, vitally, your FPS will increase by up to 20%.
-------
DONE: Increased Bullet Registration.
The game will now use sv_fps 30 and snaps 30, in line with the Quake series,
This increases the amount of updates the gameworld has per second.
Currently with 20 updates per second, bullet registration isnt quite accurate on fast moving objects.
With an extra 50% of updates per second, the game will have much better registration on sprinting targets,
the client will be more 'insync' with the server.
Also, the game ping will decrease, as the server is able to respond to your requests faster.
The effect of ping on gameplay will reduce by about the equivalent of 15.
-------
DONE: Knife Changes.
Autoknife has been removed. This means that you will have to aim while knifing.
It will also reduce any false positives, and only register when you have knifed someone.
-------
DONE: Search and Destroy changes.
If you accidently pickup the bomb while moving, you can put it back down, by simply opening the
promod menu and clicking drop bomb. This can be bound to a keypress too.
/bind G openScriptMenu quickpromod 2
-------
DONE: Ready up mode changes.
You are now able to kill during ready up mode, and a kill counter is kept. You are able to participate in
this by simply shooting your weapon to make you damageable.
-------
DONE: Improved Visibility.
The game world will no longer be forced to be 'grey' in the script, and will be more colorful,
in the way the map makers originally made it.
Static shadows have been reduced, making the outside terrain clearer and sunnier.
-------
DONE: Weapon fixes combined.
Promod will come with the AWP and Sway fixes combined. There will also be a command to reduce SMG damage
from 2 shots to 3 shots to kill on the arms, hands, feet and legs. Torso and head will remain 2 hit.
-------
DONE: IWD Sum/Name Mismatch fixed.
This awful bug has now been removed.
-------
DONE: Improved menus.
-------
TODO:
Weapon selection will now be done CSS style, where you can quickly press a
few buttons to select your weapons. The classes will be transparent, and you can quickly
select (or press a button) for your gun, and grenade. A desert eagle will now come as standard.
-------
DONE:
There will no longer be the bug where specops and snipers
have to go into 'spectate' to pick their weapon.
-------
TODO:
Also, sheerly as eye candy, a second menu will allow weapon skins.
This is not an important or useful feature, but will bring back a simple to do feature of the stock game.
-------
DONE:
Bomb drop and suicide added as menu binds.
-------
TODO: Console stats
You will now recieve your damage done, damage taken and bullet accuracy at the end of the game,
inside your console. ET Pro style.
-------
DONE: Scores revamped
A bomb plant will now only equal an assist.
-------
DONE: Teamkill deaths removed.
You will no longer die from teamkilling at the start of a round.
-------
TODO: Scroll wheel shooting disabled.
Binding your scroll wheel to shoot will now kick you from the server.
-------
DONE: Killspec improved.
Killspec will now be on toggle, so the game will automatically ready you up,
and kill you at the start of each round.
-------
TODO:
Compass cheat removed.
-------
DONE:
Music Reduced.
